Welcome to this KOA, located in the heart of stocked fishing holes, unclaimed floating and rafting river spots, homegrown country markets and Historic Route 66. Pan for gems and minerals on-site at the Walnut Creek Mining Company. Enjoy the screened-in porch with slider rocking chairs, a swimming pool, a pavilion, an indoor TV/game room, a volleyball court and a horseshoe pit. Bennett Spring State Park lies minutes away, where clear spring-fed streams flow through a shady hardwood forest. Anglers seek out these prime trout waters, stocked daily during fishing season. Hikers can explore 12 miles of trails leading past natural rock tunnels and through an oak-hickory forest. Area outfitters rent canoes and rafts and offer guided tours for scenic floats down the Niangua River. Historic Route 66 passes through nearby Lebanon, where you can browse flea markets and antique shops for nostalgic souvenirs. Pool: Memorial Weekend- September 30.
